Institute of Leadership Studies



  CELAP Institute of Leadership Studies was established in 2008, dedicating to its study on leadership theory and practice. Main fields of the institute are studies and academic exchanges on theory, practice and construction related with the CPC Central Committee and state leadership. Director-General of the Department of Teaching Affairs acts as the head of the institute.
  There are more than 20 part-time researchers working for the institute, of whom more than 90 percent have intermediate and advanced titles.
  During the past several years, it has made outstanding achievements by organizing high-level international symposiums, conducting academic exchanges and developing leadership courses. The institute also attaches great importance to the study of psychological studies of leading officials. For example, it carried out mental health investigations among director-general level officials. It established the pattern of qualities for Chinese mayors. Its report on Chinese officials’ mental health study received written comments from the heads of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of CPC. It has organized two international symposiums on leadership and plans more cooperations with foreign partners with the aim to become a talent pool, think tank as well information database for CELAP’s leadership training cause.
