On Jul. 13, Executive Vice President Feng Jun and Mr. Vladimir Mau, President of Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, signed The Cooperative Agreement between CELAP and RPANEPA, which formally renewed the cooperative relations. The two sides will thus work together on a wide range of academic affairs.

 

In Apr., Vice President Jiang Haishan also renewed agreement with RPANEPA’s affiliate North-West Institute. The agreement involves conducting fundamental research of the relations between two countries in historical perspective, at present and in the future.

 

CELAP signed agreement with NWI RPANEPA in 2008, and then with RPANEPA in Nov. 2009. Since the start of the agreements, CELAP has cooperated with RPANEPA and its North-West institute in training officials, co-hosting international conferences and project application. Based on the results achieved, the two sides decided to continue the cooperative relations and strengthen ties for the development of China-Russia relations.
