On the morning of March 17, 2017, Prof. Hok-Lin Leugh from Queen’s University visited CELAP, and gave a lecture on “China’s Land Policy and International Comparison” for the First Seminar on Promoting Strategic Adjustment of Economic Structures. During the lecture, Prof. Hok-Lin Leugh carried out discussions and interactions with the participants. Prof. Hok-Lin Leugh has visited CELAP several times. He spared no effort to give lectures and project consultancy, to evaluate related publications and write cases. He also guided young teachers by adopting the theories and methods accepted by the circle of international social sciences which was very helpful to improve their teaching and scientific research. His contribution promoted the integration of the internationalization and localization of the curriculum teaching at CELAP and teambuilding of related research. Prof. Hok-Lin Leugh studied at the University of Hong Kong, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Cambridge and University of Reading in his early years. He has published nearly one hundred academic papers, making plenty of contributions. At present, he also holds the post of the senior consultant and the member of expert group in the Policy Research Office of the Central Government, Development Research Center of the State Council, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China and Ministry of Land and Resources of China. |
