On April 19, 2017, Prof. Gu Qingyang from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of National University of Singapore (NUS) visited CELAP, and gave lectures on “The Belt and Road Initiative from an International Perspective” and “Financial Innovation and Financial Regulation” for the 2^nd Seminar on Accelerating the Belt and Road Initiative and the 13^th Seminar on Deepening Financial Reform for State-owned Key Enterprises respectively. During the lectures, Prof. Gu Qingyang carried out heated discussion and interaction with the participants.

Prof. Gu Qingyang is currently the professor of Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of NUS, the senior researcher of the Asia Competitiveness Institute, and the director of the senior management training program. He has been dedicating himself to researches in the field of China’s economy, urban development and urban policy, and public policy in Singapore. He also provides consultation service for government agencies in both China and Singapore.
