On the morning of April 13, 2017, Prof. Alan Hudson, Director of the program on China’s leadership and public policy, foreign Director of the Joint Center for Urban Studies of Oxford University and CELAP, and Prof. Penny Lewis from University of Dundee lectured at CELAP. They gave modular lectures on “Urban Development and Urban Planning” for the 4^th Seminar on Promoting Smart City Construction. Combining some case studies, both of the professors analyzed the advanced experience in urban development and urban planning of London, England, in particular. They also carried out heated discussions with the participants.
