On April 10, Prof. Zheng Jinzhou, Vice President of CELAP, met with Prof. Zulpkhar Sarkhad, President of the Mongolian Academy of Administration (MAA), and signed a memorandum of understanding on behalf of CELAP. Mr. Liu Genfa, Deputy Director General of the International Exchange Department, was also present at the meeting and signing ceremony.

Prof. Zheng introduced to Prof. Sarkhad the new context, new tasks CELAP has been implementing in order to meet new expectations of the public, and new practices and innovations it has introduced to its operations, since the 19^th CPC national congress. Underlining the academy’s long-standing focus on international cooperation, he noted that the signing of the MoU with the MAA marked yet another step forward in this respect and looked forward to see fruits born of this partnership.  

Prof. Sarkhad emphasized the great importance of cooperation with CELAP. He expressed the wish to learn from the academy’s advanced ideas and successful experience, and invited CELAP scholars and experts to visit the MAA for further exchanges.

The two sides agreed to facilitate the exchange of visits and joint training programs, and strengthen cooperation in capacity building for public servants of both countries.
