The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) opened on October 16, 2022, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, delivered a report to the Congress on behalf of the 19th CPC Central Committee. In line with the requirement of CELAP Executive Committee, and to thoroughly study, publicize and implement the guidelines of the Congress, CELAP organized all the participants and Party members to watch the opening ceremony. Taking the organization of the event seriously as an important political task, CELAP leaders directly guided the task to ensure a smooth watching experience with joint efforts by relative departments.

Participants from program on cultivating young leaders in the central and western regions, program on promoting green and low-carbon development, program on adhering to bottom-line thinking and preventing financial risks, and program for of ICBC Shanghai Branch leaders watched the ceremony before attending separate meetings to share their thoughts.
